This charming barn venue is tucked secretly away in Essex countryside gardens which is why it's called THE SECRET SCONERY. Run by The English Cream Tea Company, this is where the Scone Gnomes create the goodies and hampers that are ordered. We can’t be seen from any roads, so we’ll send you directions once you book. We're only open as a Tea Room for occasional events or for your private bookings.

(Yes, you can have traditional English Breakfast or Earl Grey but if you feel more adventurous,
we have a Tea Blending Station where you can literally blend your own teas!) - or there's Coffee available if you prefer (and other drinks available).
LOCATION NB: Once you book, we'll send you directions on how to find us but essentially, this charming tea barn is completely out of sight from the main road and is set in a private 5 acre garden in the village of White Roding, Essex CM6 1RF. No refunds possible alas, but you could gift your booked places to others and just let us know their names and requirements. We usually SELL OUT quickly, so be quick to get your tickets booked to avoid disappointment.

Please note that if you purchase and can no longer attend, we can't offer a refund but your booked places are entirely transferrable to other people of your choosing (just let us know, particularly if they have different dietary requests). Alternatively, if you give us over 14 days' notice, we can sometimes transfer your booking to another later event date at The Secret Sconery. NB Also, if we are forced to cancel, then you will indeed be offered either a full refund or a transfer to another later date.
